Tommy Orange featured in the SANTA FE LITERARY REVIEW
The Santa Fe Literary Review is so proud to feature an original interview with Tommy Orange in next year’s issue, themed Raíces: Down to the Roots. Alongside the interview, Kate and team are thrilled to be placing an original, unpublished story, “Shenandoah.”
Tommy Orange’s first novel, There There, has been lauded by editors and critics representing the New York Times, the New Yorker, the Paris Review, and more. His fiction has appeared in The New Yorker, the Yellow Medicine Review, and elsewhere, and he’s a current faculty member at IAIA’s low residency MFA program here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We’re delighted to announce that Tommy’s also recently won the PEN/Hemingway award for There There – a major success.
Tommy is humble, gracious, and professional. His words inspired – and he makes us all want to be better writers, and better members of the writing community, too. A million thanks to Tommy Orange – in our view, the writer of the year.
